Marriott International will hold the grand opening of Courtyard by Marriott Okinawa Resort in June.
The former KANEHIDE Kise Beach Palace will be rebranded. In preparation for a full renovation, the hotel had temporarily suspended operations as of October 4, 2025. This marks the Courtyard brand’s first entry into Okinawa and its first beach resort–style property in Japan.
The hotel will feature 170 guest rooms, all equipped with private balconies. Offering ocean and mountain views, as well as family rooms and suites, it will cater to both leisure and business travelers. Facilities will include an all-day dining restaurant, lobby bar, fitness center, kids’ club, and approximately 210 square meters of function space. The design is being handled by Kume Sekkei.
Located along Kise Beach in Okinawa, the property offers views of Nago Bay and the surrounding mountains. It is approximately a one-hour drive from Naha Airport.
