Starlux Airlines will change the aircraft on its Sapporo/New Chitose–Taipei/Taoyuan route to the Airbus A350-900.
The route is currently operated once daily round-trip with the Airbus A330-900. From June 1 to August 24, it will be operated with the Airbus A350-900.
The Airbus A350-900 is configured with 306 seats: 4 in First Class, 26 in Business Class, 36 in Premium Economy Class, and 240 in Economy Class. Business Class features private suites equipped with sliding doors.
This will be the first time Premium Economy Class is offered on this route. Although Starlux is the only Taiwanese airline to offer a First Class cabin, tickets are not being sold as of March 3.
