Washington R&B Hotel Sapporo Kita 3 Nishi 2 in Sapporo, Japan, completed a full-property renovation and reopened on July 2.
The hotel revised its previous room mix, which had primarily consisted of single rooms, and added twin rooms as well as connecting rooms, where guests can move freely between two rooms through an interior door. The hotel now has a total of 213 rooms, comprising 201 single rooms and 12 twin rooms. Connecting room options include four twin-and-single combinations and 10 single-and-single combinations. The interior design of the guestrooms has also been refreshed. Single rooms feature a wide desk positioned for easy viewing of the television, while twin rooms are equipped with indirect lighting by the beds that allows guests to adjust the color temperature and brightness.
The hotel has also introduced a system allowing guests to choose either an airweave mattress or a nishikawa AiR mattress when booking. Some guestrooms are equipped with ReFa showerheads and hair dryers, while the lobby features an amenities corner that includes Epsom bath salts.
