Qantas Unveils New Business Class for Additional Boeing 787-9s
Jetstar Japan will add two Airbus A321LR aircraft to its fleet.
The aircraft will be introduced from October in line with the renewal of its fleet and deployed on high-demand domestic and international routes.
The Airbus A321LR is a longer-fuselage, longer-range version of the Airbus A320ceo. “LR” stands for “Long Range.” Its range is 83% greater than that of the Airbus A320ceo, enabling flights within a range of approximately 3,000 to 5,500 kilometers. Powered by CFM International Leap-1A-32 engines, it also offers 20% better fuel efficiency than the Airbus A320. The first aircraft (registration: JA26LR) was delivered in June 2022.
The cabin will be configured entirely in Economy Class, with 232 seats—six fewer than the 238-seat configuration of the aircraft already delivered.
