Korean Air Finalizes Order for 103 Boeing Aircraft
Lufthansa Group has exercised options for 20 Boeing 737-10 aircraft.
In 2023, the group ordered 40 Boeing 737-8 aircraft and secured options for 60 more. With this latest option exercise, its total Boeing 737 MAX order has reached 60 aircraft.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the early 2030s, with the aircraft set to gradually replace older Airbus A320 family aircraft across the group’s airlines.
The Boeing 737-10 is the largest aircraft in the 737 MAX family and has more seats than the Boeing 737-8 aircraft already on order. Compared with the older aircraft it will replace, it reduces fuel consumption by approximately 30% and lowers unit costs by around 20% through increased seating capacity.
