This is a rebranding of the old Osekan. The inn will start offering diving services and lodging without meals, with a full grand opening in late June upon the launch of “Suruga Bay Man Naka Cafeteria.”
The inn will have 26 Japanese-style rooms. On the first floor of the bayside tower building overlooking the beach, there will be a “Nature Lounge” and an “Irori-style Lounge.” Showers, large communal baths, and powder rooms will all be completely renovated, increasing in size by more than 1.5 times. The large communal bath will use groundwater that slowly passes through the volcanic lava layer of the UNESCO recognized Osezaki Geopark.
Access is about 50 minutes by car from JR Mishima Station, or about 50 minutes from the Shin-Tomei Expressway Numazu Interchange (IC).
