Philippines AirAsia has indicated its intention to change its arrival and departure terminal at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
The change will see the international flights moving from the current Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 to optimize airport operations and enhance customer satisfaction. Domestic flights will continue to operate from Terminal 2.
Discussions are currently ongoing with the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), with the use of two adjacent terminals expected to optimize taxiway usage and reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
In 2023, AirAsia Philippines served over 1.72 million passengers and anticipates over double that figure this year.
