urakata will open the hotel ‘Kikka Hirado’ on September 15.
The building is two stories high. All rooms are suites, with 2 ‘Kikka Suite’ rooms featuring 4 beds and 3 ‘Junior Suite’ rooms with 2 beds, for a total of 5 rooms. By the window of each room, there is a large window framed like a picture, facing the sea, and the amenities include shampoo and conditioner made from organically grown neroli, as well as recycled water bottles. For breakfast and dinner, dishes using seafood, vegetables grown in Hirado’s red soil, Kasuga’s terraced rice, Hirado beef raised in the sea breeze, traditional pressed oil, sake and shochu made from the local climate, and local ingredients such as Nagasaki’s Hasami porcelain and Mikawachi porcelain are served. Inside the hotel, there is a private sauna exclusively for guests, equipped with a cold water bath and a wood deck terrace, and a gallery lounge.
To celebrate the opening, a special plan that includes breakfast and dinner and offers a 30% discount for stays of two nights or more is available. The stay period is from September 15 to December 31 check-in. Reservations can only be made through the official website.
