Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay Offers ‘Monster Halloween Afternoon Tea’ Starting September 1

Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay will be offering a ‘Monster Halloween Afternoon Tea’ from September 1 to October 31.

Designed with the theme of ‘Monster Town’, where monsters bewitched by Halloween magic gather. The sweets menu includes ‘Marron Demon’, a Mont Blanc chestnut cream dessert inspired by a demon, ‘Purple Alien’ which portrays Halloween’s eerie atmosphere with its berry sauce representing blood, a pistachio mousse based monster ‘Frankenstein’, a choux pastry ‘Sneaky Eye’ with pistachio cream representing the eye of a monster, and a black sesame cream macaron ‘Spider Monster’ looking like it’s about to munch on a spider web, utilizing fall flavors like pumpkin, purple sweet potato, apple, and Japanese chestnut. Homemade scones come in both plain and pumpkin varieties, and savory dishes include mini burgers with realistic monster faces.

Available at Hudson Lounge and Manhattan among two other places. Prices start from 6,050 yen at Hudson Lounge, and from 6,380 yen at Manhattan, both including tax but excluding service charge.
